The American Athletics softball organization is proud to announce our dedication to the development and success of young student athletes. Our organization is composed of several teams competing at various levels with a common goal of playing softball at the highest possible level.

The American Athletics Girls Fastpitch Softball Club was founded by Jim Bollinger in 1994 and is predicated on showcasing the exceptional talent of fundamentally sound student athletes in Southern California to colleges nationwide. Our organization emphasizes hard work, commitment and dedication both athletically and academically. We take pride in equipping our athletes with the skills necessary to compete at the collegiate level. In addition, we are committed to providing each player with the opportunities necessary to obtain a college scholarship.    .

With college exposure as our main goal, the American Athletics travel across the United States and Canada seeking to compete at national as well as college showcase tournaments.

Head Coach : Frank Rizzo

Head coach Frank Rizzo of Concordia University in his 7th season at the helm brought plenty of luck to the Eagles as they set a school record for wins (45), qualifying for their 1st-ever NAIA National Tournament. The Eagles took 6th place in their maiden national voyage after earning 2nd place in the NAIA Region II Tournament while moving to the lofty perches of #8 in the NAIA Softball Ratings.

In just his fourth season, Coach Rizzo became Concordia softball's all-time winningest coach. He broke the 100 win plateau in the middle of the 2002 season and has broken the school's softball win record for the third straight season. He was named the GSAC Coach of the Year after guiding the Eagles to a 18-10 conference mark. Last season, he moved over the 250-win mark to help boost his average wins to almost 32 per campaign.
